Christian apologetics is the field of study concerned with the systematic defense of Christianity. The term “apologetic” comes from the Greek word apologia, which means in defense of; therefore a person involved in Christian or Bible Apologetics is a defender of Christianity.
In defending the Christian faith, the most important question before us is “What sort of defense will best glorify our God (cf. 1 Cor. 10:31)?” God forbid that in seeking to defend the faith before others we should in that very act compromise it.
Mission Statement
Blogogetics.com exists to remove intellectual impediments to Christian faith, thereby enhancing believers’ confidence in the gospel message and removing barriers that limit the skeptics’ understanding of the gospel
Doctrinal Standards
Apologetics.com recognizes the 66 books of the Protestant canon of the Bible as the only infallible rule of faith and practice. However, we also recognize the following post-biblical creeds and confessions as valuable and faithful, though not infallible, expressions of Christian orthodoxy.
# The Apostles’ Creed (ca. 125)
# The Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed (381)
# The Definition of Chalcedon (451)
